Vibrant Living Yoga
Teacher Training and Intensives

Wake up! That’s the message of the Yoga Teacher. It’s a call to wake ourselves up first. As we do so, we increasingly live the magnificence that we are, see it in others, and guide them to realize it too.

The Vibrant Living Yoga teacher training originated in my own life dedicated to yoga and awakening. Awareness of our incredible potential for happiness, and the knowledge that we are naturally encoded with everything we need to actualize it, has led me on amazing journeys in the fields of health and consciousness. Yoga is an integral component of my explorations, and continues to delight me as vehicle for guiding others.

In the training we experience the essence of Yoga through a unique and holistic synthesis of the best possible methods, harmonized through the timeless wisdom of ancient scripture and philosophy applied in a contemporary context. The revolutionary model of the Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training intensive benefits from today’s top teachers to illuminate a curriculum that is as thorough as it is diverse.

Together we create the ultimate Yogic environment for learning and transformation: a community of like-minded individuals from around the world that supports one another in living our true potential. Every component and detail is top caliber, including the expertise of the exceptional guest faculty, the natural beauty and heart of Bali, the abundant, simple luxury of Anahata Villas, the healthiest, tastiest organic living food nutrition, and so much more.

The Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training is suitable for any level of experience. Whether you are already teaching, about to begin or are newly acquainted with the benefits of yoga, waking up to who you really are not only frees you to live the life you always knew was possible, it also frees others - just by being you. Deepening your skills, understanding, confidence and presence in this foundational teacher training enables you to reach people more effectively through your authentic experience of yoga. It provides you with a comprehensive yoga education and exceeds the requirements for Yoga Alliance's 200-hour certification. You will dive deeply into extraordinary living, yoga and teaching.

Warning: though there is no prerequisite of yoga experience - as the state of Yoga is available to us all now – an attitude of genuine desire to immerse yourself in this intensive program, commitment to be present and participate to the best of your ability in all classes, an eagerness for challenge and a willingness to venture beyond your comfort zone, are absolutely necessary. In other words, if you’re only interested in the certification, a leisurely yoga retreat or holiday, or want to disrupt others or detract from the group’s momentum - this training is not for you.

Further warning: it is probable that after this training your life will not be the same. Seen from new heights, previous terrain may look or feel completely different. Some of the tools we play with include periods of introspection through silence, juice fasting, exercises in exploring inter and intrapersonal awareness, and more. The Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training is ideal for those who wish to create something new, to fly higher.

Alanna KaivalyaAlanna Kaivalya
A life-long obsession with sound has guided Alanna in the direction of music and vibration. Through the teachings of yoga, she has found a home for her spirit within the pulsations of the heart.

Her foremost teachers are Sharon Gannon and David Life, the creators of Jivamukti Yoga, and through their grace, she also found Manorama, a Sanskrit teacher who has graced Alanna with a deeper knowledge of how sound profoundly affects us on an energetic and cellular level. Her practice has also been heavily infused with the love-filled influence of Shri Dharma Mittra, a teacher who revealed the true devotional nature of asana practice. These profound teachings have liberated Alanna, and through that freedom, she offers teachings worldwide to students of yoga, exclusively in the Jivamukti tradition. As an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Instructor, she fills her classes with Nada (sound), Bhakti (devotion) and Shraddha (faith). Her classes feature an unyielding spirit for bringing yoga off the mat and into the world. Her face forward, charismatic style is the perfect platform for classes that are masterful, artistic, and always feature an element of mystery.

While on her world tour, she has led kirtans (devotional singing concerts) and performed with Dave Stringer, who has been a musical inspiration for Alanna. Recently, while in Sydney, Australia, Alanna found herself in the midst of a tidal wave of opportunity, and through riding that wave, she had the opportunity to write, create and produce her newest album, Shine. To see video clips from Alanna, visit our Podcast and Video page. (May/June)

After the film project ended, he remained in India to teach school in a rural village, and continued his studies of the traditions of yoga under the guidance of Swami Chidvilasananda. He began teaching meditation to prison inmates and leading kirtan at yoga studios across America in the mid 1990's.

Dave and his band tour tirelessly, performing throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Frank Giglio Frank Giglio

There he was able to find a deep understanding for the creative process of working with food, as well a learning the fine art of tastes and flavors. As the years past, Chef Giglio sought after a deeper connection to food and has come full circle in doing so. “All I really want to do, is make good food. Simple, fresh and whenever possible, local food, prepared with good intentions.” Simply put, Franky is constantly seeking the best food available through local farms and high integrity importers. After changing his direction to a more plant based diet, Frank sought after the education from some of the leaders in the rising raw food movements like Gabriel Cousens and David Wolfe. David DobsonDavid Dobson
Born and raised in New Zealand, David has been living in Asia since 1990 and studying and practicing Ayurveda since 1997. His attraction to Ayurveda has been it’s ability to go to the core in helping us understand simply how life works, encouraging each of us to live a life of personal balance and collective harmony.

Over the years David has been fortunate to study with and be inspired by a number excellent teachers, including Dr. Vasant Lad (a leading advocate of Ayurveda in the West), Dr. Gupta (a fourth generation Ayurvedic doctor from Vrindaban, India) and Mike MacDonald (a student of Kirpal Singh and communications consultant whose teachings have a very metaphysical focus - looking deeply into the mind-body connection and in particular the importance of principle based relationships as the key to sustainable well-being).

David distills his studies and experiences into a very practical and contemporary approach to Ayurveda – treating it essentially as a language of energetics that helps us understand ourselves and our relationships, thus offering a valuable set of tools that aid us in taking responsibility for our own lives, facilitating transformation and helping us overcome the challenges of modern life along the way.

David’s path of self-discovery has included inquiry into Taoism, Buddhism, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and nutrition. His personal interests include sustainable design and lifestyle, music, art and education. He currently resides in Bali and is a regular teacher at yoga workshops and teacher trainings in Japan. (May/June, Oct/Nov)

Bali
The island of the gods, Bali and her people is a culture Yoga International magazine describes as ‘living yoga.' Spirituality, harmony with nature, peacefulness - these elements embody the Balinese way of life. Ubud, an artist's Mecca, is the cultural heart of Bali. Embedded in rice terraces, temples and powerful energy, at a slight elevation so cooler than the nearby coastal heat, Ubud's climate has turned it into the perfect yogic destination.

Vibrant Living yoga

yoga bali

"The Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training has changed my life. The experience opened my eyes to the treasures in the world of yoga. Daniel takes you on a journey of self discovery through nourishing gourmet raw food, challenging your body in asana practice, meditation, studying ancient texts, listening to modern philosophers and building a personal practice. Guest faculty brought a depth of knowledge to the training with an incredibly high level of expertise. This is a teacher training for current teachers or people new to the path of yoga. A bonus is the magical setting of mystical Bali. I will be back for future courses." -Janet Carscadden, physical therapist, Burlington, VT.

"If you want to strengthen your spiritual, physical, and philosophical yoga practice you can attend any teacher training. The Radiantly Alive yoga teacher training is just different: it is a process that you cannot believe or understand until you live it and be with it. You will have your own unique experience and it will change the way you stereotype yourself and everything around you. Beware: If you LOVE your life the way it is, and do NOT want it to change (i.e. get better) stay away." -Rebecca Hillary, science teacher/yoga teacher, Philadelphia, PA.

"You are extraordinary! If you want to become aware of it, this is what you can do: Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training.' Calling it a yoga teacher training wasn't really fair. It's been an education into all of life. For years I've been traveling around the world searching for something - finally now in Bali, with this 'training' I've found what I've been looking for - I've come home. Words may not have the power to express my gratitude, but nevertheless receive many thanks for what you have created for us."- Markus Gmachl, tour guide, Morocco.

“Sitting at my desk on a dull English winter day idly googling 'yoga' and 'running away from my 40th birthday' yielded some unexpected results. Four months later I emerged blinking with jetlag into the Balinese sunlight. Be prepared to physically and emotionally let go of a large quantity of toxins past. Expect to share the airy open yoga studio, set level with the swaying treetops, with butterflies, dragonflies and joyful cartwheeling swifts. Expect to be shocked at your potential. Absolutely demand to be shaken into radiant life by some of the best teachers on the planet. And fully anticipate being spat back out into your old world to find that nothing is quite the same. I dragged my sorry carapace of misery from events of the past few years with me to Bali. And somewhere in a star-splashed night I shook it off. I danced with abandon, I laughed long and loud from the depths of my belly, I rejoiced in my own silence, listening and learning. I rediscovered my body and my creativity, I allowed my vulnerability and my tears a voice and accepted all the comfort offered, I looked without shyness into beautiful eyes and faces.oh yes, and somewhere along the line I did some yoga too and found out I could be a yoga teacher. This stuff works. Although it couldn't stop time, I am thrilled to report that I am now 40, fabulous, and free.” - Jay Kipling, UK - writer, animal welfare campaigner, PR company director.

What Faculty say about their experience:
“The Radiantly Alive Teacher Training Program is unquestionably one of the most intriguing and comprehensive courses with which I've had the pleasure to be associated. It is rare for a Teacher Training to successfully endeavour to cover so many aspects of yoga training. However, the Radiantly Alive people address meditation, pranayama, philosophy and nutrition as seriously as they do asana. All these subjects are delivered by teachers who are top notch in both skill and reputation. Indeed, it is as stimulating for the teachers to be exchanging ideas with each other as it is for the students on the receiving end of the instruction. The effectiveness of the training is further enhanced by the beauty and seclusion of the venue. It is hard to imagine how this singular training could be bettered, but, as the organizers are dedicated to constant improvement, I'm sure they'll find a way.” -Edward Clark, founder of Tripsichore Yoga Theatre, London

“I had a fabulous experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. It’s a brilliant idea for students to be introduced to numerous paths of yoga over the month. I predict it will keep growing over the years and I hope to be continually involved – I will recommend it whenever I get the chance.” - David Williams, first non-Indian to learn entire Ashtanga from Pattabhi Jois, Maui, HI.

“Daniel Aaron is the most professional, organized and conscientious person I have ever had the pleasure to work with. His yoga teacher training is a huge gift to anyone who gets to be involved. Daniel is an amazing teacher, and his classes are the best I've ever taken. He is exceptionally thorough, present, available and grounded, which proves his teachings are coming from a deep, centered source. From the beginning to the end of the workshop he brings a passion, vibrancy and true commitment to helping his students to have a transformational experience. This is truly groundbreaking, expansion based work and I am honored and blessed to be a part of such a revolutionary project.” -Elaina Love, author, chef, teacher, restaurateur, San Francisco, CA

“I teach in many programs and trainings around the world. What’s happening here is very special. The combination of elements that Daniel’s put together, from the beauty of the nature here and the villas, the food, you all living together, it’s powerful. I seldom see a group so present and focused as this. You should consider yourselves very lucky.” -Govinda Kai, advanced Astanga yoga teacher, Tokyo, Japan

Travel and Visa Information
Bali’s International Airport is located in Denpasar. Airport transfer between Ngurah Rai International, Bali's major airport in Denpasar, and Anahata Resort will be provided.

Indonesia has recently introduced new regulations with regard to visas, allowing tourist visas to 60 days. A visa fee is payable upon entry to Bali for most countries, however make your own inquiries about the visa requirements applicable to your nationality, as some passports are not permitted a visa on entry and must be organized at your embassy prior to coming.

Please check your passport expiration date as you must have six months validity remaining on your passport from the date of your return from Bali.

If you have any questions related to visas or assistance in finding economical air travel, please contact us via phone or email.
